Sound painting is a multi-disciplinary, aesthetic language for musicians, actors, dancers, and visual artists.  It is a semiotic--sometimes composed in real time--which allows an artistic vision to be expressed in ways that dazzle multiple senses in unison.  The composer (known as the “sound-painter”) is given the power to embody his or her vision through the movement of the performers as well as through the sounds of the composition.

This revolutionary artistic approach was first developed by composer Walter Thompson in New York in the late 1970’s.  Soundpainting is now practiced in over 35 countries and on 5 continents. Details:
I use visuals as a musical instrument. This is accomplished by developing drawings to line-animation. The process involves designing 3D animation and streaming animated .gif. I also employ a variety of techniques to create video-loops which play in concert with the performance of musicians, actors, and dancers. Over the course of my pursuit of this new art, I have made use of the brilliant work of Dennis Shafer, Eric Eigner, and Walter Thomson.
